Now that the world of business is freeing itself from the constraints of being in the office and schedules with the flexibility offered by remote working, it is time to start thinking about work differently, especially given the limited space companies are working with.
Given that life in the outdoors is unarguably a source of wellbeing, working to nature’s rhythm can only be beneficial for revitalising and inspiring the mind and body. Urban furniture has already made the shift and companies are following to encourage employees to share, meet and exchange.
Well before the repercussions of the health crisis on our professional practices, Fermob had already anticipated new reception and workplace layouts.

Fermob came up with this new way of working for all those who want to shake things up and adopt the concept of working outdoors differently.
Building on its strong reputation in these markets, Fermob introduces the Garden Office concept. With a well-calculated and playful approach, furniture takes on a versatile function in outdoor spaces.
It is defined for moments of life spent outdoors, to relax, rest, play, enjoy meals or work. With the added bonus of being multi-functional, furniture adapts to all moments to better respond to our lifestyles. Pleasure and relaxation at work is Fermob’s new industrial revolution for the office.
This led the brand’s designers to conceive and create very specific furniture, and, following two years of development, the tables and chairs collection Bolder and Adadesk, the new rocking desk – were released.

As such, everyone can set up outside, alone, with someone else, or even four people or more. The furniture is modular, flexible and adaptable to all needs and desires. Fermob solutions allow to create welcoming universes for customers and employees. Whether you want to isolate yourself and concentrate, get together with people during a lunch break, or simply relax.
With a table and integrated stools, the contemporary Bolder boasts a curved seat with adapted ergonomics that beautifully blends in all types of spaces: head offices, urban oasis, coworking spaces, hotels, or wherever it is placed.
Taller than a standard picnic table, it offers a dynamic posture that is ideal for discussions, or that allows for moments of relaxation and outdoor meals.

Complementary to each other, the round tables (2-seater) accentuate a space when used alone, or create more intimate spaces. As for the modular tables (3-seater), they can be assembled to form a variety of table layout designs (circular, “S” shape, etc.), thus allowing to seat more people for larger meetings, or for friendly moments during lunch breaks.
Taking a fun and quirky approach, the Adadesk rocking side desk reinvents portable comfort dedicated to wellbeing, both when working, relaxing or even having lunch on the go. Thanks to the rocking movement of the seat, it stimulates intellectual and creative activity.
Ergonomically, it can be used in a number of ways: you can sit astride it, face forward towards the table top, sit with your back to the table top, which then doubles as a backrest, or sideways on with the table top as an armrest. In 100% aluminium, this extremely light decorative object offers incredible mobility, easily transformed from a lounge space to an outdoor office.
