Brooklyn-based lighting design studio Rich Briliant Willing will be exhibiting at the Light show in Fabric during Clerkenwell Design Week
Brooklyn-based lighting design studio Rich Brilliant Willing has announced a participation at Clerkenwell Design Week for the first time this year. During Light, CDW’s lighting-focused trade exhibition from 22 through 24 May, the studio plans to unveil a suite of new spring launches alongside a few of their newest and best-selling fixtures, marking their most comprehensive UK presentation to date.
With this edition of Light taking place at Fabric nightclub, a former meatpacking cellar, Rich Brilliant Willing’s presentation engages in a dialogue with the historic architecture. A modular statement chandelier will hang from the dramatic 20-foot-high vaulted ceilings, while sconces illuminate the industrial surfaces of the interior’s walls.
“Exhibiting in an environment like Fabric is an exciting opportunity to engage with London’s architecture and design community, and to showcase the range and versatility of our products,” according to RBW co-founder Theo Richardson. “Through a comprehensive product offering with extensive customization options designed into the objects, and with our dedication to simplicity and atmosphere, we provide iconic solutions to match customer needs. Our lighting solutions add ambiance to hospitality, workplace and residential applications, whether that means a contemporary hotels or a historic meatpacking cellar, the original purpose of the Fabric Venue.”
