Smart doesn’t have to mean serious. Gaetano Pesce’s shoes for Melissa are not just sophisticated in design, they’re fun. You can tear away the bubbles to make the shoes as high or low as you want, which taps into the secret pleasure of popping bubble wrap.
If you listen to MP3s or your iPod you are listening to compressed music with missing information, and therefore there’s a loss of quality. I have more than 3,000 CDs loaded onto my Opus, and they remain perfectly non-compressed, lossless music. It’s a magnificent digital jukebox.

I wish I’d designed the Kia Pop Car. It breaks with the archetypes of what a car should look like and sets a new spirit for the automobile that is very in touch with the 21st century. Kia has reimagined the concept and experience of driving into something that is futuristic and sexy.
