Here is Icon’s selection of products to look out for at the event next week Luca Nichetto A range of lounge furniture that combines a strongly defined shape (the Scandinavian approach) and Nichetto’s Italian touch: lots of comfortable pillows. Bo Westerdahl These bulky cupboards and drawers, which come in ash or oak, have grooved handles that encourage touch. Doshi Levien The design duo will reveal developments to its high-back armchair, which was shown as a prototype in Milan last April. The shape is based on a type of Japanese fan made of a circular piece of paper on a bamboo handle. Read our interview with Doshi Levien Note Design Studio The muted colours of this range are based on the tones of light observed in the Scandinavian mountains. The fabrics wrapped around the metal frame are produced by Kvadrat. Form Us With Love The Swedish studio will launch a sidetable to add to its space-saving Cage collection – which at present includes a wall-mounted mirror and storage unit (above) and a shelf. It will also launch another range of acoustic panels for Baux, which are made from recycled wood wool and come in five patterns and 20 colours. Video: Watch Form Us With Love’s Jonas Pettersson discussing the practice’s approach to design Ontwerpduo Dutch design duo Tineke Beunders and Nathan Wierink’s flexible wall and ceiling lamp references climbing plants and their tendency to creep and grow across a space. GamFratesi On these tables for the high-end flatpack brand, three light metal legs lock into the lacquered solid ash top for assembly in just 30 seconds. Richard Hutten The circular seat of the Dutch designer’s spinning chair is based on the way architects draw chairs in their floorplans. Stockholm Furniture Fair runs from 3-7 February |
