“Navigating the city” on 10 December is the second in the London As I See It series at the View from the Shard, and will be hosted by former RIBA president Angela Brady
Broadcaster Jon Snow, author and psychogeographer Iain Sinclair and Omid Ashtari, general manager of transport app and Icon Awards nominee Citymapper, will be speaking at the top of the Shard on 10 December, in the second of the London As I See It series.
At the Shard’s 800ft-high viewing gallery, they will present their take on the theme “Navigating the city”, exploring how London’s buildings, streets, history, signs and codes help them to do so. Each speaker will talk for 20 minutes, before taking questions from the audience and former RIBA president Angela Brady, who will host the event.
Launched in September, London As I See It is a collaboration between Icon and the View from the Shard. For each event, we will invite high-profile designers, thinkers and writers to discuss the British capital and the forces that shape it.
