Gt2P's machine mixes traditional techniques and digital principles to create parametric designs without a computer

Chilean design studio Gt2P’s project Less CPP N°1 Catenary Pottery Printer is an attempt to create a standard machine that generates non-standard results.

The designers articulated computational variables in analog terms, by adjusting such elements as fluid weight, fabric tension, size of material, position and number of anchor points, drying times, type of pottery and water quantity.

In mixing traditional material and techniques with digital principles, they created parametric designs without computers.
