Margot Krasojevic introduces her latest 3D-printed ceramic shell light, modelled using a pattern that turns when air passes over its form. The light freely rotates and picks up speed while the movement rotates a motor to create a current using a joule thief circuit to light up a cluster of LED lights. Only using wind power to generate electricity and a capacitor to store it, the light’s ceramic shell was designed using simulation software to test the aerodynamics and fluid dynamics of the form.
