Nina Cho is an artist and designer living in Detroit. In continuation of her research of planar material, Nina Cho refined a single broad bend in creating the shell for a chair. Cutting a pie shape away from a circle and curving it to connect the edges, creates the three-dimensional chair shell. The wide seat invites users to have freedom with their posture, and the long line of the outside curve functions as an armrest. The form of the legs echoes the chair shell’s perimeter.
