Now in its fourth series, Tom Blachford’s Midnight Modern (2013-18) captures the modernist architecture of Palm Springs, California, using only the light of the full moon. The images explore the relationship between the tangible buildings and landscape and the intangible, cinematic quality of the moonlight.
