Featuring work by Jim Stephenson, a photography exhibition by the RIBA in Brighton explores the ways in which humans interact with architecture

Humans are often absent in architectural photography. An exhibition in Brighton seeks to correct this omission, documenting the life that goes on within, around and on top of buildings and structures.

Organised by RIBA Sussex, the exhibition pairs images by photographer and filmmaker Jim Stephenson with those by guest photographers who responded to an open call for contributions. Each set explores a theme such as “play”, “performance”, “rest” or “home”. Above are some of the images on show.

Space Invaders runs at the Jubilee Library, Brighton, until 26 June 2016
