Alice Anderson at Wellcome Collection: Memory Movement Memory Objects

One-hundred of artist Alice Anderson’s uniquely mummified objects will form the core of this extensive solo show. Anderson explores both the fallibility and transformative nature of memory with her sculptures, created by embalming recognisable everyday objects in reams of copper wire. Examples in this new exhibition will include computers, window frames, bicycles, a staircase and a boat. Visitors will also be able to contribute to the creation of a new work, wrapping a 1967 Ford Mustang in wire.
