Everything is Architecture: Bau Magazine from the 60s and 70s

The influential Vienna-based architectural magazine Bau (1965–70) will receive its first significant UK retrospective at the ICA’s Fox Reading Room. Under the guidance of innovators such as Hans Hollein, Walter Pichler and Günther Feuerstein, Bau combined graphic experimentation with a wide-ranging cultural remit to challenge architectural criticism’s established orthodoxies. Featuring original issues from the short-lived journal, this show will provide audiences with an opportunity to view one of the most ambitious architecture magazines of the post-war era.
