David Adjaye: Form, Heft, Material

This timely show exploring David Adjaye's work comes at a pinnacle in the British architect's career: a year before his Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture is due to open in Washington. This project, along with many others Adjaye has masterminded from his offices across four continents, demonstrates his adeptness for architecture that draws on location, climate and social issues. The exhibition features full-scale fragments of Adjaye's buildings, so their materiality can be explored to full effect.
