James Bridle: Seamless Transitions

Artist James Bridle and architectural visualisers Picture Plane set out to depict the physicality of the UK's immigration system for this exhibition of unusual imagery. The set of renders takes an eerie look at places closed off to photography – a private terminal at Stansted Airport where rejected migrants wait to be deported, or a courtroom designed around presenting evidence in secret. The show's aim is to speculate on the experience of asylum seekers and the invisibility of current immigration and detention practices.
