Suomi Seven

The Suomi Seven are a group of young Finnish studios that have benefited from the country's tradition of open architecture competitions, achieving major projects at a relatively early stage in their careers. The chosen studios include ALA Architects, which completed the Kilden Performing Arts Centre in 2012, and Anttinen Oiva, which won a competition to build Helsinki University Library (pictured) in 2008. The show is timed to coincide with the Frankfurt Book Fair, where Finland has been given the role of guest of honour.
