They Used to Call it the Moon

This intriguing exhibition brings together film, photography, drawing, sculpture and collage based around the iconography of the moon – with the wider purpose of exploring space in the context of politicisation and ownership. Centre stage is Trevor Paglen's Prototype for a Nonfunctional Satellite (2014): a shiny inflatable sculpture designed to track the earth and reflect the sun's light like a slowly moving star. Also on show are works by Wolfgang Tillmans and Michael Light, as well as material from the Stanley Kubrick archive.
