Christmas Past: 400 Years of Seasonal Traditions in English Homes

This annual event offers a peek inside the living rooms of the English middle classes to see how they celebrated Christmases past. The Geffrye Museum's 11 period living rooms, set in 18th-century almshouses in the heart of Hoxton, are transformed with decorations, lighting and music, transporting visitors back to festivities from the past 400 years. A yuletide treat.
