Cloud of Unknowing: A City with Seven Streets

Celebrating the 130th anniversary of Taipei’s founding, Cloud of Unknowing investigates the links between urban spaces and cultural memories through a range of installations, images, manuscripts and objects. Featuring work by 25 artists from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Japan who focus on spatial content, location-specific memories and habitation relationships, the exhibition guides visitors to consider the subjectivity of our experiences of a modern city. New site-specific artworks will be presented, including a simulated cityscape containing seven streets on the building’s third floor.
