Architecture, Culture and Identity: Now Babylon

The Louisiana continues its investigation of architecture's ability to create an identity for a region with Now Babylon, an exhibition that examines the architectural commonalities of Arab countries. The show will explore how builders and architects have grappled with the desert, from old Yemenite civilisations to contemporary cities such as Dubai. It will also explore outsiders' interpretations of the Arab region, including works from Jean Nouvel and Henning Larsen Architects.
