Herbert Bayer and Graphic Design in Germany, 1928-1938

Before being exiled to America in 1938, Herbert Bayer created seminal posters, commercial adverts and brochures. He provided innovative advertising ideas for publishers and industry, and also for the Nazi regime. This comprehensive and critical exhibition is part of Berlin's Diversity Destroyed cultural programme: a commemoration of Berlin's cosmpolitan history and its destruction by the Nazis.
