Studio Glithero's co-founders, Tim Simpson and Sarah van Gameren, have designed the Blueware collection, a series of ceramic-ware created for the Vauxhall Collective. The tiles and limited-edition vases combine the world-renowned craftsmanship of Stoke-on-Trent's master ceramicists with an innovative take on the blueprinting process. The intensely coloured blue surface is adorned with a delicate white image – the ghost of a leaf, stem, flower or weed. This effect is achieved when plants are laid onto the ceramic material, which has been infused with light-sensitive chemicals. The works are then left to bask in UV light, which transforms the exposed ceramic surface from its original white to the deep blue colour it retains. What is left behind is a slowly formed image of the botanical specimen. These are ethereal images that feel almost apparitional.

Studio Glithero's take on the reinvention of British classics call both on the advent of photography and the most classic of British pottery Josiah Wedgwood's white on blue Jasperware.
