The UK’s largest design show returns for its 11th edition with over 260 exhibitors, as well as installations, talks and events exploring the theme of Experience

Now in its 11th edition, 100% Design has become a fixture at the London Design Festival and the UK’s largest design trade show. Last year, it moved to Olympia London in West Kensington and drew more than 26,000 visitors. Between 21–24 September, 100% Design returns to Olympia once again, this time featuring over 260 exhibitors. Attendees can look forward to four days of inspiring talks, industry networking events and a diverse showing of the best of UK and international design for homes, offices and everything in between, with over 40 brands making their debuts. They will also encounter site-specific installations made by some of the most exciting emerging studios.

The overarching theme of the show is Experience, and how design can be a tool to guide and improve the way in which people interact, live and work. The specially commissioned installations will challenge visitors to ponder the way in which design can affect our perception.

The popular talks programme is also back, but with a twist. Curated by the Design Museum as part of their On-Loan campaign, the Auditorium talks will focus on current trends and future directions of design connected to the show’s overarching theme. This year’s speakers include Asif Khan, Ron Arad and Assemble.

Parallel to this, a series of smaller-scale discussions and networking events, named Forum, will run throughout the duration of the exhibition. With topics ranging from copyright protection to commissioning, and from Brexit to creating the buildings of the future, many significant industry figures will be featured, among them Samuel Wilkinson, Peter Murray and Studio Weave. All in all, 100% Design will provide a timely opportunity to catch up on the latest developments in design.
