The Madrid fashion brand combines bright colours and graphics with clean cuts, writes Christie Bakker

Delpozo captures and combines exceptional dichotomies – indulgent volumes go hand in hand with intricate embroideries and vibrant colours, mixing floral detailing and romanticism.

Founded in 1972 by Jesús del Pozo, the Spanish brand established itself as a household name in its homeland. After the passing of its founder, Barcelona-born designer Josep Font was tapped to bring new life to the house in 2012.

Under his direction, Delpozo has leapt onto the global fashion stage, attracting attention with its seamless synergy of innovation and craftsmanship. The designs boast architectural silhouettes, borrowing from Font’s training in this sphere. Graphic prints, embroideries and flowers bring rhythm to organic yet contemporary silhouettes – while unifying the varied, extensive colour palette. Font fuses the brand’s heritage with his boldly feminine tailoring, and by doing so, captures the rare duality of the futuristic and the fairytale.
