Min-Kyu Choi wins Brit Insurance Designs of the Year Award

The win was a triumph for the Design Products department at the Royal College of Art that Min-Kyu Choi graduated from last summer. The plug has had unparalleled interest from both manufacturers and the public ever since, and wowed the judging panel, chaired by Anthony Gormley. It was one of the most popular stories ever published on iconeye.com, with half a million page views since July. “I didn’t quite imagine this response,” said Choi back then. Last night he was speechless.
