Several big-name designers launched furniture that this year’s Salone del Mobile. We interviewed the designer at Salone del Mobile about the friendly form of his X-Chair – a design that develops on the size and shape of a pouf. NITZAN COHEN FOR MATTIAZZI Cohen’s range of colourful Uffici task chairs stood out at the Italian company’s stand at the furniture fair. LUCA NICHETTO FOR VERREUM Inspired by the shape and gloss of wrapped sweets, the designer’s super-shiny Bon Bon tables come in various sizes and are made in silvered glass by the Czech glass brand. GAM FRATESI FOR CAPPELLINI The designers’ textile and metal partition system, which absorbs sound as well as dividing a room, comprises a series of petals that hang from the ceiling in various, sculptural configurations.
