The British architect is launching a range of solid wood furniture in Milan next week British architect David Chipperfield will launch a range of wooden furniture characterised by clean lines and a simple silhouette at Salone del Mobile. The Langley stool, which can also be used as a side table Each item in the collection is made up of a series of wooden planks of different lengths. Originally conceived for a Chipperfield-design countryside home, the Fayland table comprises a large wooden element supported by lengths of wood angled outwards to form legs and a central horizontal bar for stability. The Fawley bench and the Langley stool mirror this structure. Launched to coincide with German furniture brand E15’s 20th anniversary, the collection is available in European walnut and solid oak, in oiled, white-stained or black versions.
