Panel will pick the shortlist and winners at the BT Tower next month

We are pleased to reveal the judges for the 2014 Icon Awards, who will draw up a shortlist and decide the winners during a session at the BT Tower in mid-October.

They are:

Oliver Wainwright, architecture and design critic at The Guardian
Jay Merrick, architecture critic at The Independent
Corinna Gardner, curator at the V&A
Vicky Richardson, director of architecture, design and fashion at the British Council
Christopher Turner, editor of Icon

The BT tower, which was the tallest building in the UK until 1980, is celebrating its 50th year and will feature as our Icon of the Month in the special Icon Awards issue, which will be out in December.
