The Relief Chair is a sculpted assembly of felt sheets, sleeved over an internal steel frame. The pure wool felt body and frame rest on break-formed stainless steel legs, with a satin finish. The Relief chair is part of the Solid/Surface/Series furniture collection, which includes Floor Perch, a pouf, coffee table and storage combined in one. Ben Mickus, who designed the furniture, uses environmentally friendly materials, including water-based glues and recycles off cuts of felt in other projects. |
